You should have posted this in the general tech section; not many people look here.

First: Define "the bike will turn off." Do all the lights go out? How do you get them to come back on? Do you mean the engine just dies, but the power is still on?

Your battery does nothing while the bike is running. The engine turns the stator, which generates electricity, and sends it to the R\R for regulation and distribution to the rest of the bike (including charging the battery while its not in use). Thus, if your engine is running, your angel eyes (or anything else) are not touching the battery. If your R/R is dead or dying, important thigns like your power commander, CDI, etc will turn off, which could cut your engine off. Also, your battery will never charge, so it will seem like a battery problem.

So, check your R/R. Your bike came stock with a real junky one, and they tend to fry. Check this thread for info on that:

https://cbrforum.com/forum/f2-tech-93/regulator-rectifier-r-r-problem-solved-27739/

It applies to all bikes.

Also be aware that a bad R\R can permanently KILL your battery, so you may very well have a dead battery AND another problem.
