No glamour shots yet, but its a fun little Rocket. We did 2 up to Tim Hortons on it. Not quick with 2 people, but with one person and enough rev's it will certainly move. Oh, and stock exhaust is terribly quiet. You could sneak up on someone with it.

I seen and heard a few 08 250's on Saturday and they make almost no sound. The 07 is about twice as loud. Ok I rode that 07 250 back from the shop for my friend and I have to say it was very comfortable, but not alot of fun. It lacks low end in the worst way and just feels kinda like a toy or dirt bike to me. I think if I had a NInja 250 and the F4 I would get hurt in the 250 because I would be to relaxed on it. It's a good starter bike for a women or a small guy, but there is no way you would want to go from a 1000k to a 250 and back.
I would love to have an 08 Green one just for looks in my garage LOL!

Nice. That's the color I was looking at. Can you give us an update on how it is. How does it ride on the highway with it being so light. Do you get tossed around in wind.
Is it comfy,long rides.
Does it have enough juice to pass and such. I imagine it can't be any slower than any small displacement cruiser bike.

Well, without getting into to much detail, the bike went back to the dealer the very next day. The trunk latch broke and carb settings were terrible. It was near impossible to get rolling without dumping the clutch at 4k rpm. Should get it back later this week and actually be able to formulate a good opinion of it.

your going to hate it. get a vfr for commuting. It's an 800 v-4., so its got tons of tourque like your 1000 and stock it gets about 45 mpg's. It's also very comfortable to commute on.

Why would someone hate it? There is nothing wrong with the 250 for commuting. It is very comfortable (I can say it almost rivals a VFR, which I have ridden a 98, and an '03), It is quick enough to keep up with freeway traffic... even passing. You say 45mpg, which is not really that good. My car gets better then that (Toyota Echo). The 250 is reported to get between 60 and 70mpg on an 18 litre tank. For commuting purposes that is much better. I love the little 250. With the exceptions of the problems with the trunk latch and carb settings, I would almost prefer to grab the keys to it then of my 600's.
