Comment duly posted.
Idiot woman deserves to have her licence revoked.

People not looking out for Motorcyclists is nothing new. What I find interesting is the 2/1 vote was 2 females to 1 male in favor of a female driver....could be nothing...just interesting. Either way, this woman should have been fined, jailed, or lost her license for a while.

I've found that when it comes to the law, it's not what you know, it's who you know.
I bet a $ that she either had a heavy weight Barrister/Lawyer, was "Somebody of note" or both. See it all the time, went to a friends hearing regarding his excess speeding & while we waited for his case to come up, two different people went up for DUI, almost identical amount over the limit. One lost his license & fined, the other had a wig represent him & just copped a fine & "Tut, tut", don't do it again. Idiot legal systems don't realise the monsters they create in the way they hand down verdicts.

I grant you there is apparent inequity in regard to bench decisions - most of it does have to do with the arguments presented by your lawyer - generally the better the lawyer, the better the arguments he presents, and the better questions he will ask. There's also an issue called "precedent"- if your attorney brings it up, the Court can assess its validity, but if he doesn't then the Court isn't required to consider it. That's why some people get away with murder........
Each case is also supposed to be viewed independance of any other.......
Oh and Pacemaker, it's not only what you know, and who you know,
IT'S ALSO WHAT YOU HAVE ON WHO YOU KNOW......
On the face of it, though, this woman shouldn't be driving.
