your coldest ride ever!!!!!!!!!
Coldest ride......... ha ha I'm still cold from the mountains. T-shirt and Mesh riding jacket. Just about the coldest I've been all year. 45degrees on Beech Mtn, NC 30 mph winds. Going tomorrow to buy some Leathers.
I had a race at Little Talladega this February and it was about 25 degrees the whole weekend (and raining on Friday forthe trackday)
definitelymiserable weather to be racing inbut still fun

Coming back from a week-end ride to Cootamundra, had been raining, but as I came into Blayney, I started wondering why I couldn't wipe the rain of my visor, anyway had to stop for a pee, turned out the rain was forming to ice on my visor, and as I turned around, the thin wet weather overcover I was wearing cracked open, f-f-f-f-fing cold. But I was warmer on the bike than off, so kept riding. Put petrol in at Bathurst & had to lean over to stop the snow from going into the tank. The day before, riding there was 23C (73F). It was early Autumn, So I was dressed accordingly. Had a different bike then, no fairing, the pain in my fingers was something else. To make matters worse, I had to ride up through the mountains for the trip home.
ONe night, coming back home from St. John's, it was like 2:00am and raining. It had been nice until then. Not the coldest I've run in, but felt like it, definitely the most miserable.
Lost a side cover that night too. That was on the Kawi KZ650

10 years ago on the Blue ridge parkway. Got caught in a sleet squall up in the mountains, when I pulled off at a rest area and flexed my fingers, the ice broke off of my gloves in chunks. That was the most miserable, but I routinely ride through the winter in sub-teens weather. Electric gear and a balaclava make a world of difference...plus I've got a GIANT pair of stones.
