RE: your coldest ride ever!!!!!!!!!
Not quite sute, but is was effin cold! I dress accordingly, but my hands and neck are what get me. For some reason when it gets cold here, the winds have to be like 40MPH so it makes it a tad bit colder, not to mention extra effort just to keep it straight.

Well yesterday was cold, but I would say about a month or so ago we were out at the bars-not i was not drinking and we were not dressed for the cold. I had my jacket, helmet and gloves, but it was still cold. it went to 40 that night and when we got tothe bikes they were soaked form the dew-it sucked, but we were only about 10 miles from home so it was not that bad.

RE: your coldest ride ever!!!!!!!!!
This is my first winter that I am planning on riding. I'm ok when riding a dirt bike in the cold because i'm moving around trying to keep the damn thing off it's handlebars so I keep warm. I didn't think it was going to be that much difference on my 1000 rr, I was wrong. Its like you are sitting in a chair with a freezer fan blowing on you. It was 34 degrees this morning and I would have rode to work at 6;30 a.m. but from the ride up to Boone and back I managed to find 2 large gashes in my front tire, so no riding in the cold until it's fixed but, I will see how cold I can stand it and the different clothing layer combos I can come up with to stay the warmest.
Have not rode in the rain since NC seems to be in a 1 year drought!!!!! But I will.......
