well some good news ... I was looking at my policy online and it looks like they cover up to $3000 worth of extra parts at no extra charge to me so at least I'll get alot of my money back for all the extra work I did if I can prove it... luckily I took hundreds of pics and I have receipts or at least transactions from paypal and ebay so that should be pretty easy to prove.


One interesting thing: while I was out having a graveside funeral for my bike (lol jk) i noticed this part laying on the ground... anybody know what it is?

 

That f$%king sucks! As far as I'm concerned all theives(car, bike, steroe etc) should be punished by death. If your caught stealing, to the gas chamber. I don't bother anyone elses stuff, so leave my shiot alone. If you want something, get a f#$king job and buy it. They are all just lazy, disrespecting pieces of shiot that don't deserve to live!

 

That really sx. My bike is parked outside too. Luckly I am moving out in a week to a house with a garage. After reading this story, I am not sure if I am going to be able to sleep well this week.

That neighbor does sound suspicious .. keep your eye out, a lot of thefts are by an acquaintance.

my brother's bike got stolen right out of his back yard in the middle of the day! he was p'ed off. The cops found it a few days later at 3:30am right down the block from his house. The Front main fairing was cracked, and they cut the rear brakeline. Its at my shop right now, i got it running again and he wants it painted. I dont understand why they cut the brakeline, its not like you can use the piece they cut off. (It was the end that connects to the caliper). That just goes to show how dumb theives are!!!!!

Karma shmarma...might as well be a handful of wishes. People get what they want by taking it, whether it's the corner office or someone else's bike. Bitter? Me? More like vitriolic...

 

Whats even scarier than bike gangs or shops stealing your bike, is I'm sure there's people on every bike forum. Finding who has what bike and where they live. All it takes is a simple post search.
