I've gone through about 3 jackets. My first was an Icon and it was junk...the seams pulled apart after a couple of months and the zipper broke too. But the jacket I have now is another Icon and I've had zero problems with it.

This one is the Women's Merc Hero in leather and I wouldn't wear anything else. It's very durable and I feel very safe in it. The fit is great - the body is long enough to overlap the top of my jeans (it goes about to my hips, not my waist like some other jackets are cut) , the collar isn't annoying and the sleeves are long enough. This jacket is comfortable whether I'm riding or I'm on the back of the bike. I got mine from motorcycle superstore.com. I was skeptical about ordering online without being able to try them on, but their size charts are accurate.
This jacket is great in cooler weather and OK in hot. The front is perforated so a breeze does get through and there's a full removable liner too.

ANY HELP/SUGGESTION ON OTHER JACKETS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
Icon ladies leather's run large; I usually wear a L and I got a M in the hella. Very long in the sleeves.
