wind chill factor calculator?
Does anyone know if this is accurate? I'm trying to find out how cold it really is when I'm riding in this freezing weather. http://motorcyclecity.com/chill.htm
On a second note NEVER forget your gloves at home when it's in the twenties! Hands tend to freeze...literally.

holy freezing finger tips batman... if this is accurate, I rode to work this morning with a temp of -8.993644952338883 F. It was 25F and I hit 90mph just about all the way there in the discount lane (discount lane = HOV/Car Pool Lane). I call it the discount lane, because I travel the same speed if I'm in it or not. The HOV is 65MPH, the rest are 55MPH.... so since I am billed $5 for each mile over the speed limit, the HOV is a $50 discount on a speeding ticket.
I can't believe you guys are still riding in this weather right now its about 5*F out side with out the wind chill im also up by cleveland but still i could not imagine riding in anything low enough to have ice on the road.

I'm down in Texas, but it's still 20 out right now (big news here), and I drove to and from school today and I'll ride in any weather as long as my bike will start...and I have my gloves. I don't wanna ever have to defrost my hands ever again! It's a cool calculatoy though. A few people told me it didn't sound right, so I thought I'd check and share how cold it actual is.
I punched in some #'s and it seemed right to me. Anything below 30F on a bike should just be labeled "F'ing Cold"
I love the cold weather -- sweating in leathers really sux. Wear enough warm stuff and it really isn't that bad. Only thing I hate is unexpected ice [:@]
