Who here has Wrecked
i wrecked twice now one on the f3 doing a slow wheelie, no injury no real damage to the bike either.
2nd was taking a curve to fast and not paying attention to where i was going that was 2-3 months ago on the 900, Fixed her up and ride ever chance i get now. No more the 50-100 miles round trip, I have no where to go.
My mom told me to sell the 900 told her i would put it up for sale if it sold she wins if not i keep her till im ready to part. Has not sold yet so im still riding as much as i can.

Call me superstitious, but some **** just don't need brought up unless it happens upon the conversation... even then I feel it should be avoided.
This thread is just that type of ****.

This thread is just that type of ****.
Accidents aren't caused by not knocking on wood, not black cats, nor superstition.
They also are not just a "**** happens"...deal either. (I swear the next person I hear say "**** happens"...I am going to beat their *** with a ****ing bat,)
Accidents occur because and out of poor planning...and poor choices.
They are avoidable...but alot of the time it takes more than one person to avoid an accident.
totally true. So here goes: The Rule to Keep your eyes 90% of the time on the road ahead, 8% on the rear views and 2% on the instrument has to be practiced until its 2nd nature. also if the rode has a raised sidewalk and you are on the right lane keep on the left side of the lane. I Kept my eyes for too long on the rearview while riding too close to the curve so totally My fault.

Only fell off my bike one time. I was doing a wheelie and gave it way too much gas. The bike went completly verticle. I ditched the bike (landed on my feet). The bike continued into a tree. I wasn't inujured at all but I did look like an idiot. Not much damage sustained to the bike. A chuck of the tree bark flew off.

Only had two "serious" offs & they where two weeks apart. 1/ Riding into the city, guy cuts across me into the next lane, almost takes me with him, so I begin the verbal abuse at him & whack, straight into the rear of a double parked delivery van. 2/ Day after mmy 18th ,met two friends in their old mans car, went to visit a friend that lived near by, after we decided to see who could get to the local garage 1st, where a mutual friend worked on week-ends, they went one way, I went the other. the route intersected mine at a cross road, cept they drove through the "Give Way" and ran over the top of my bike, luckily for me (if you could call it that), I cleared my bike, was airborne like it was forever, then sliding across the bitumen ( I can remember seeing chunks of my visor being ripped off (as I was face down) then bang, as I hit the only frigging pole in the street. Broken arm, multiple abrassions, arms, chest & knees 16 stitches in one & still have bits of bitumen in some of the scars), concussion, (when I hit the pole) 1 wrecked bike.
As for telling my folks hah, Police, Ambos, tow truck & crowd of gawkers, arrived at the same time, I think everyone there knew my family
I reckon my oldies new about it before I stopped bouncing down the street, My folks arrived, mum all freaked, but thankfull I was relatively alright, old man, totally cool, "Guess you finally managed to reach the ton?", but he tore stips off me on the way to hospital for freaking my mum out. They where a bit supprised when I got another bike, once the insurance coughed up, they thought the stack would put me off. The only thing that really got to me was having to try and stand or sit down with banged up knees.

I've been down 2 times. 1st time was right after i got my bike and hit some gravel..i was ok had a road rashed arm and knee the bike had a busted radiator and altenator cover. 2nd time I was on the wife's F4i and we were going around a curve and hit a rock. threw both of us off, bike had a busted upper fairing, scratched right fairing and bent front forks, me and the wife just had various bruises, got up and walked away from that one. busted my helmet, tore up my gloves, ripped holes in my riding jacket.
