RE: who hasn't dropped it???
there's 2 phases to dropping your bike
phase 1: The 'oh ****' phase. This phase usually consists of an imbalance if your bike. Maybe you didn't add enough counter balance. Maybe your shoelace got wrapped around your peg (dumbass for not wearing boots btw). You feel it start to go. you put your foot down and scramble to start a recovery. 90% of the time, you are successful.
phase 2: The 'OMG NO!' phase. In this phase, you do everything you can to keep it from going over, but no matter how many countless hours you spend at the gym, and how many mussels in your groin you pull, your bike will eat dirt. Phase 2 is usually followed by a bunch of naughty words and lack of sex for the next 24 hours.

RE: who hasn't dropped it???
My last real off was the day after my 18th birthday, so it was ...... along time ago (38 years, my god) Although I did slip over in a Toll booth in '84, but the only thing damaged then was my pride (It was raining & there was a build up of oil on the road ok) but at least I got out of paying the toll.

One minor argument with a ditch and tree. Bike was fixed in a few weeks, I had a bruised foot. That was May 2007.
A few 0mph drops from coming to a stop and being leaned too far over still. Last one was Monday [sm=icon_rofl.gif] Frame slider did it's job nicely.
Damn near ate **** on a freeway entrance ramp this past Tuesday, taking it a bit too fast, went wide, and hit pea gravel. Bike slid pretty good but then gripped and kept going. *hugs Pilot Power 2CT* Had my girl on the back at the time, would've felt terrible hurting her. Good thing it's the end of the season, cause I'm getting crazy.

After 15 years of riding sport bikes, I've been very fortunate. I've never had a spill or dropped one yet... (**knocking on wood **) ...yet. The closest call lately that I can remember for dropping itwas when I got a shoelace (Yeah FLYOU...I said "shoelace") caught around my shift lever and couldn't getthat foot down at a stop sign.So far, so good....(** fingers crossed **)

RE: who hasn'
Wife backed into me (sent me into the street on my belly) @ 600 miles on the odometer. Another time, I pulled into the garage, did the partial kickstand thingy, and nearly blew all my intestines out of my mud cutter trying to keep her upright. I succeeded, but had to change my chonies...
