Ace hardware is the easiest place for berrings. I take old spark plugs and break up the porcalin(sp?). one lil piece will end a chace fast, kinda hard to drive when you windshield is shattered.

Go to a auto repair place and they will give you all the old bearings laying around, just pry out the steel ***** and you have a handfull for free after a little cleaning...

By the way the spark plug doesn't work on windsheilds just the sides and back glass, it just chips the sheild cause of the safty liner in the middle doesn't let the glass shatter.

You could always buy some big nuts at the hardware store.. or any wal mart or toy store sells that magnetix toy and it is mostly comprised of ball bearings. Other than that I dunno where you might find them other than specific hardware stores in your area, I know of some in nashville but I bet it wouldn't help you

You could have just gotten over and let her pass. She obviously wanted to go faster than you and you were in a passing lane. It's really not worth you risking your neck, especially if you are in the left lane. In PA, doing what you did, you would be violating 3 laws. You are not a traffic control device. Just get over and let them pass.

Another thing you could do (though I don't recommend it) is jiggle your handlebars. If it looks like you are going to fall, they will probably back off.

ORIGINAL: Gville George

I am amazed she didn't slide out and die.

just keep in mind that if you throw **** at someones car they will come after you, so be willing to haul major *** as soon as you do it. and also, alot of cars top end are comparable to ours. so get out of there before they start to give chase.

oh, and to answer you question, yellow page a bearing store around you. Most towns should have one.

i would go to them with specific application though, not just "uh, i need bearings, don't care what exact size" its kinda like going to a hardware store and looking for non specific pipe bomb sized pipe, they wont be as helpful.
Yes, some cars like my trans am have a similar top speed. Usually it's not a sports car that does it. For the most part, I'd guess that 90% of the cars that will **** you off like that probably top out at 120-130. I can go a lot faster than that.
