It looks like the same exact kit with a different description page, I just bought the cheaper one.

a question for those who have HID in their lo-beam... do you use an HID delay kit like tripage offers? similar to http://www.tripageled.com/PAGES/600r...#HIDdelayrelay (sorry i dunno how to shorten the links on this forum) or does it come on as soon as you turn the key?

trying to figure out if the current draw from the ignitors at the same time the starter is cranking the motor is enough to put a strain on the bike's electrical system like tripage says

I think HIDs operate on 35W instead, so IDK if that will even matter.

i think the thinking is the power required to initially turn on the bulbs is the issue, not the power required to keep them on

again, i know almost nothing about this, just saying what i've heard in search of someone more knowledgeable than myself

Well, I checked the mail yesterday and my kit was already here. I got it installed no problems, I'm going to be posting a tutorial on it for anyone who is thinking it is a difficult task to complete.

did you post that tutorial? i'm stuck right off the bat... the plastic protectors that come with the bulbs, i know the top unscrews but how do i get the base of that plastic thing off? it's kinda stuck between the bulb and the rubber washer

Umm, are you talking about on your bike or the kit itself? The plastic cover that comes over the bulbs to protect them? I'd have to look at my extra one when I get home, and no I have not written the tutorial just yet. I kinda put it off when the site was down.

I ordered some Silverstar Ultras off of ebay. Hopefully they'll be here friday.
