^^^Yep. If you get the ones Foxy recommends they'll also take care of any defects for quite a while, too. I don't remember the exact time frame but they told me that when I contacted them about a relay (which they sent to me free of charge... a very nice one too with lots of power leads).

I went with the 8K - they were ultra white head on with a blue tint from anywhere else...see if I can find a pic. I think Foxy used the 6K's which are the brightest white without the blue... I think. Seems like anything else, different kits have different numbers and blah blah blah

Different companies, different kits, different values, I think. The scale Rrasco put up seems about the most common though - it's what I've been led to believe to be the most common.

Temperature is temperature. I have a 6k kit and it has blue in it.
Also the higher the temp the less light output.
4300-5k is white if you want a to just get rid of the yellow look from halogens.
