The ones Foxy recommended are tops, I'm speaking from experience.

They're $89 shipped to your door and if you can plug in a desk lamp, you can install those. Rrasco, take the second HID and sell it with the ballast and ignitor. Hell, you could make your money back on that alone. Surely you know someone you ride with that would like an HID kit for $60... ?

Here's how those work, plug OEM headlight lead into the ballast... ballast has a lead coming off that plugs into the new HID. Doesn't get any more simple than that. Toughest part is finding where to best mount it.
Yea, I was thinking of just saving the other one too, as backup parts. Considering I'm a lone wolf rider anyhows. I'm not concerned about hooking it up, looks like easy ****.

Nothin' wrong with that, have fun with them... instills a new confidence you've never had while riding at night. Lots of fun.

Because of the new eBay seller fees, it's cheaper to mark stuff as list price, then charge shipping to make up for the cost, which in return lets the seller fees not be as expensive but still get price value out of the product.

You understand now right?
That makes sense. I know they do it, but I never applied that concept to it.

Can someone point me as to which kit would work with an F2? (if you know the bulb number?) I have a silverstar in there now and it was a lot brighter than stock, but these look amazingly bright.

I know mine is an H4, aka 9003. Bi-Xenon kits are Hi/Lo, however, I don't think they have true Bi-Xenon, most of them have a moving shield that redirects the light to a different angle.

Well you really don't need anything but the kit. The bulb is the same socket H7 bulb that is stock on the F3's. There is some debate as to installing HID's into dual-filament lamp housing (such as the F3) since the beam will be scattered and definitely won't be legal (not that many cops stop for it... unless you blind them).

An alterrnative is to adjust your beam so it points lower than normal... but not so low as to contradict the HID's purpose.

Like I said, the debate is there but there are always was around things and you can always make something work. Try 'em out, all you need is a kit like the ones being mentioned.
