I'd like a modded E30 M3, or 03-04 cobra. with gas prices it's hard for me to really get pumped about cars anymore but I would love to rock a whippled 03-04 cobra on the weekends or a peppy e30 with an S52 engine swap(e36 m3 engine), awesome little cars.
I think "realistic dream car" is kinda an oxymoron.

RE: What's your realistic dream car?
Its not really realistic but its no super car and I think that was really the point. So here goes...
I would have to go with my Grandfathers 1956 F100 Custom Cab. He was the original owner of the truck. He had leukemia when I was very young and died when I was 9. He left the truck to my Dad and his brother, and its currently sitting in my Dad's garage. I have quite a few good memories in this truck. Everything from the classic piling in to go fishing to just taking a ride because I LOVED that truck. My dad also owned a 1966 Baracuda so I was hooked at an early age. My dad drove the truck off and on until some kids threw big rocks through the windshield while it was parked one day. Since a new windshield was so expensive it got parked after that and has been ever since. That was probably 8 years ago. If it hasn't been in years to come I would like to take a chunk of bonus money and kickstart its restoration. We would both like to something that isn't too crazy but updates the truck and tricks it out to a point. A 302 would do it some serious justice, but here lately Ive seen quite a few 4.6 or 5.4L's in em so thats also a possibility. Some mild looking wheels, nothing too flashy, and if we lower it then nothing too drastic. Here's some appetizer pics....
I also love Mustangs of all kinds. Fox-bodies are my favorite and unfortunately I am in the process of getting rid of my 88 GT. I would love to have another Fox. If not a Foxbody Mustang then a 03-04 Cobra is the hotness.
