RE: What's your realistic dream car?
It wouldn't look too far from this
1935(ish) Chevy 5-window coupe rat~rod
But I'd be using a 5-window cab like from this 1935 Chevy
I'd like to take the original frame and add in a large amount of 1.50"~2.00" tubing to support it structurally and also incorporate a roll cage in it. Tub out the *** to use a Ford 9" with a 4-link style rear end.(Ideally I'd like to make up some kinda independent rear suspension but that's pretty weak compared to the Ford 9")
Edit, forgot that I'd like to work in a Mustang II independent front end on her somehow too, none of that solid front axle nonsence unless it really tears away the theme...and money
Then would come a newer 5 speed manual outta somethin in the last 20 years tied to a small block of some breed with a whinny supercharger on it. I’d probably end up with a cookie cutter 350 but I’d like to get something high winding like a 327 but that would be more expensive…as would the supercharger.
Here's a glance at what my pride and joy could look like

my friends mom used to have a stingray. it was nice, but she said it just had too many mechanical problems. it might of just been hers though. cars these days though just keep getting uglier and uglier to me. new mustang, camaro, evo, etc... not a big fan of the whole boxy look. i'll probably get flamed, but no offense to those who may like the new cars. just not my cup of tea.

RE: What's your realistic dream car?
supposedly i heard about a year ago they were supposed to be coming out with a new one. don't remember an exact year maybe 2009, but all the ones that have been made before are v-6's and the newest ones are supposed to be v-10's. i still can't afford one though cause even on ebay theearly 90's modelare in the $20,000 range. i remember i met a guy in the air force about 1 1/2-2 years ago and he had a black 91 i believe. beautiful. he said he had a turbo for it, but it was back home in california, but it ran a 10 or 11 something in the 1/4.
