Wouldn't a 1k for me at 6'2" 230lbs be the same as a 600 for you guys who are like 5'8 160?
Simple power weight ratios are:

Literbike
400lb bike + 230 person / 150 HP = 4.2 lb/HP

600cc
380lb bike + 160 person / 105 HP = 5.14 lb/HP

Formula1
1320lb Car and Driver / 750HP = 1.76lb/hp

Horse:
1200lb/1 = 1200lb/HP

So the way I see it Snowboard is that you need to weigh 370 lbs on your literbike to be the same as the 160 pounder. Get to eating.

I'm partial to the bigger bikes simply because they require theadditional skill and reservation in order to be ridden accurately and quickly.

On thefull-day-of-riding aspect of it, bigger CC's typically means lower revs at higher speeds.

It depends on how your carrrying that 230 Snowboard. If you can get it over the front tire you should be able to get it up to fatal velocity with a quickness.

I take a lot of road trips, and a lot with the wife on back. I found the 954 a lot more comfortable, and when riding double, the extra power was nice.

ive had many different bikes.. 2 f3's, 900rr, 929rr and now a f4i .. and i cant honestly say that my 929 was the best of them all especially for a bigger guy like me 6'2 240 lbs. it has great torque which i loved ! way better then my f4i and its geared. so soon hopefully ill sell the f4i and get another 929 or 954.

i've ridden my friends 04 1krr and its crazy for the streets too much power in such a small package .. you really have to be in control of your self to ride a liter bike just because the power is so seductive.

yanno, I dont have no complaints about my F4's power. It has all the power I want when I need it, and I dont have to do a dang headstand on the bars to keep the front down. I wanna ride my bike not fight it when I least need too.
