Wait till you get old, every weekend is lame
. Nothing wrong with being the DD though.

The weekends I think are just what you choose to make of them yourself..
I also recon that everyone thinks that everyone else is having a better time than them , sometimes..

A DD ....HMMMM... wait till your a GD ....

A quick rundown on an old guys weekend

My weekend was nothing spectacular either...
I quoted a couple of jobs on sat morn... had a quiet barbie with the misses in the afternoon ... caught a move in the evening ... not too bad ..
Today I woke up (sunday) .. the sun was shinning .. I was bored ( 8.30am ) ... immediately went out while still drinking my coffee, warmed the bike up , and me and the misses hit the road for a little trip up the coast ..only 230 klms ... had a light early lunch at the other end ... then a slightly faster ride home .( only slightly faster :-) ..
Dropped the misses off at home with a numb bum
... and I took off again for a quicker solo sprint down the freeway only 25 klms to blow the cob webs out of my ride and head ... Got back home ... cleaned the bugs off everything ..
Then we then went to the beach and swallowed a couple of cans, walked the dog ... home again now swallowing a few more cans .... then I will get dinner ...
Hardly anything radicle or super special.... but we tend to like these sort of lazzy weekends these days ..

I did midnight runs both nights this weekend...I cut alcohol out of my life for the most part, so now I ride all night when the roads are clear. Don't know what I'm gonna do in the winter.

You are a night rider too

The night rides are very neat here in summer ... lovem .. even the misses loves them .. I do not tend to go too far these days at night though ... 60-100 klms ??? then turn around ..
.They are still great fun though ....except for the six trillion bugs that I have to clean off the next morning ..
arr... but thats life at night hey mate ..
Our winter has not been too bad here ... we missed a few weeks with ****ty weather , but on the whole it was a good winter .. its just ended .... hooooo friggin rayyyy
My Sunday, since it was 31C here yesterday & felt like 28ish, decided, after a nice peruse of the Sunday papers, had a Cappuccino (home made) & Bacon & Egg sanger, round 10:00am, that we would go & have Fish & Chippies down at Bar Beach cafe (right on the beach by the way).
Lovely sitting there eating, nice breeze, nice young girls in bikini's, nice older ones to.
Stopped off at the bottleo & bought a nice 6 pack Little Creatures Bright ale, which I'm now half way through being 6:30pm. Tomorrow going to be 30+ again, so going to take it easy & go for a ride up to Nelsons Bay (1:30 round trip), yeah life for us old bastards is tough, cruel even.

Wish I was wealthy, my wife still works, keeping me in the manner to which I've grown accustomed, No I got a package (Golden Handshake) from a government job that I managed to stay in for 20 years, paid a sh*t load in tax, but well worth it by way of Super, basically end up with the same amount I would have got if I stayed on (kind of sort a). However the BS in America & effects on us is playing havoc with things at the moment, may have to get my wife a 2nd job.
