In Florida I think your hands have to be below your shoulders, ie no apes.

you are correct that most if not all states have laws to prohibit modifications such as this but still doesnt stop them from doing it. some of these types of bikes have quick releases so they can lower the handle bars up and down with ease (or if they are being followed by a cop) haha

and could you just imagine if that guy caused an accident on the freeway because of his "ape hangers"... maybe then theharley guys would feel the enforcement we get everyday...

 

here in southdakota they cant be above youre head.. but you should see people over the sturgis rally, they know the cops have more important things to tend to..so they do it anyways.
