Default What does it mean? Left or right headlight off?

Dear all...I've notice this for long while but never ask why. I see sportbikes riding around town with one of their headlights off? Some is the right hand side off and some is the left hand side off. Is there any meaning in this? Or it just looks cool...? Seriously, almost all bikes I see out there has 1 of their 2 headlight bulbs off...why?

Seriously? Step away from the motorcycles.

1 side is low beam the other side is high beam.

It's odd, I met 2 guys at Cycle Gear...They intentionally pull one bulb off...They say everyone is doing it (but right or left has meaning). They don't know why but they see many others do it so they just followed....LOL...if all this cause by 1 fuse...then it's the latest trend.

Yea..I have both on too...I need all the safety feature as possible. I can understand some may want Ying/Yang different color HID bulb...But if 1side off, then this is a safety issue day and night riding. But seriously, Los Angeles area... Many bikes missing 1 bulb?LOL....

They were most likely telling you that as a smart @ss answer..... one side is the low beam and the other is the high. You really think that many people would be pulling bulbs out?
