And my girlfriend is the only one to go on my bike. I suppose I'd take my mom for a ride if she really wanted, that would probably be safe with the g/f.

I have the love on my life so I would say hell no. If i was single I would say no since i don't want someone's lifein my hands like that. I like to ride solo so I even have a Targa solo cowl and never comes off for that very reason.
Any girl that just come up to a strange guy and asks for a ride is going to be trouble.

but yea, its totally not worth it for many of the reasons you guys and gals explained... plus its not worth having to explain myself. I wouldn't want her doin it so i wouldnt do it to her...
and btw Niquie F4iChica, ur absolutely right! if there is any doubt at all, its probably best to avoid the situation completely...

I have no issues with giving a chic a ride. My wife (of going on 3 years) has no issues with it what so ever. She's not the jealous type. Heck, she's TOLD me to take several of her female friends out on a ride on several occasions.
The only thing, really, is that until recently I had the cowl on 90% of the time... so if I was going to give someone a ride, they'd have to come by or be at my place so I could switch it out.
That being said... I don't know if I would let a 100% random person ride on the bike. A friend of a friend, sure, someone my wife says I should take around... sure. Someone walking up and asking for a ride at a gas station? No way. They'll probably stab me, we'll crash, then she'll sue me. Forget that!
