posted this in the other gift thread, but im sure not alot saw it since its like 5 pages back already:
my family had no money this year to spend much, but one notable really cool thing i got was from my grandparents.
they had no money, so they decided to give each of their grandkids a very old keepsake.
my great great great great grandfather whose name was Hy-Ty (i have no idea how to spell it) was born at some point in the 1800's well i got one of his old pocket knives. so its just a small knife that is 100 years old, its really cool.
one of the hard parts was this chirstmas my brother was in iraq . he's in the Army. im pretty sure its one of the first christmas's without him. he 23 years old, and has been in for about 3 years.
i found out that the gift that is being given to my brother is my g-g-g-g-grandfather's american flag from when he was in the army.im guessing its about 100 years old. My brother is their only grandchild in the Military.

seems like you guys made out pretty good... < got some cash and some clothes (much needed sweaters and a pair of boots since I didnt have ANYTHING for the cold but two sweatshirts!!) and bath and body works smell good stuff (mm cucumber melon).. Other than that, just "goopies" (meaningless junk gifts)...
I got all my bike stuff last yr- and I'm starting to make a list of bike stuff for next yr. I'll prob buy that all myself tho!
