What car should I buy?

I'm a huge fan of the Scion tC. $17,000 for a really good looking car, and it's fully loaded. It has a Toyota Camery engine, so you know it's reliable, plus, they just look damn good for that price. I would say look into that.

my co-worker has one of those...and she hates it comepletely...she has taken great care of it, but done nothing but get it fixed...shes had it in and out of the dealership's shop for everything, including engine and electrical troubles
IMHO, its too much style without enough engineering
again, just another POV for ya
o, and u cant go wrong w/ anything honda...i love love love lovemy insight, if u can find one in your area, i would recommend taking it for a test drive

not trying to argue, but just offer another POV

Just kidding, but not really.Have a few buddies at work that own them. No problems to speak of (and they have the first year models). One has the factory supercharger (awesome if you like tire smoke), another one has an aftermarket TCS and Turbocharger (even with TCS, still a smoke show). They're great. After being in theirs for so long, I fell in love with them.
Sounds like she got a bad one (...or "says" she takes care of it, but tries to find out where to pour in the elbow grease.)

You lost the argument when you mentioned "she".

I like the TL, Am considering one when my accord get a little older. I had a 530i and the ex-wife had a 330iC, great cars if they are leased, but way too much money to maintain when you own them.
This says it best, even though an Acura is not an impressive car (like a Benz, Audior a BMW)per se, I think it is the best combo of luxury, reliability and looks out there.
u cant go wrong with anything that carries the HONDA symbol
Yea man the TL is an awsome car! They get up and move too! That's what I plan on buying myself when I'm ready to buy a new car. Get the '04+ though, 270 hp, and manual if you can (Brembo brakes + LSD). The pic you posted is a 2000-2003, '04 was the first year of the redesign

$15K is the most you want to spend, or the amount you want to finance?? Either way, unless you have HORRIBLE credit, your payment should be well under $450. I just bought an '05 RX 8, and my payment is $303 for 60 months. I financed $15K on it, and I got the best interest rate available (I have good credit).
For each 1% increase you have in your interest rate, you pay $5 per month more for your payment. So, I pay 5.85% interest for my car at $303. If you have bad credit, and have to pay 10% interest, your payment would still be only $330 or so.
Saturn makes a factory supercharged car, the Ion Redline edition. I drove one, and they are pretty fast, but not that luxurious. If you can spend a few thousand more, I can't say enough about the new RX 8's. 238hp out of a naturally aspirated 1.3L rotary. Wow, it's so fun to drive. The suspension makes handling a dream, and it is a very well engineered car. Redlines at 8500RPM...
