Default what brand sprocket and chain do you prefer

I have an 01 F4i and it is time for a new sprocket and chain. I would like to go -1 +2 but in order to do that I have to buy different brand sprocket and chain. when i do something I like to know I have done it right and I have been doing a lot of reading and I'm not satisfied. I guess I'm kind of taking a poll sort of wondering what every ones views on this set up is and what parts you went with that you liked?

Ive always ran D.I.D chains. never had any issues. I've heard RK and EK are also good chains.

Im currently running Driven Sprockets. They are holding up well so far. I ran Vortex sprockets in the past without any problems. I've read some people have issues with them however. But I logged over 20k miles (chain as well) on an aluminum vortex and very little wear. The one thing to remember when running aluminum, is you have to maintain it. Steel sprockets had hold up to a little neglect, aluminum can't. Having said that. I'd go with factory size. I would not suggest going with a 520 conversion, even on a 600. While they might be strong enough tensile wise, they do not have the same wear characteristics since they are skinnier. they do not have the same area for wear, so they wear out much faster.

I've heard sprocket specialties is a good sprocket company as well.

RK XSO gold chains with name brand steel sprockets. (running JT at the moment).
New chain/sprocket swap is around $150 if you shop around. If you keep an eye on ebay and online shops, many times you can get even better deals as closeouts pop up. I know there were stock sets of AFAM sprockets on ebay for like $35 shipped a couple weeks ago. They were full sets that the chains had been scavenged from.
