Default What boots to get...

Im lookin for a good pair of street riding boots. I want something comfortable to walk around in but I also want some decent protection out of them. Ive been looking at the Joe Rocket Super Street and Sidi Scorpion. Anyone have these? Any other suggestions?

I have Joe Rocket Big Bang boots. I like them but your choices are also good.

Alpinestars makes one called Octane aka Stunt shoe. I have a pair for everyday riding and they are very comfortable. 73 dollars a pair. Sidi makes a casual/street riding boot and that is 130 a pair. Next time I think I will try the Sidi. They look nice too. Only thing about the Alpinestars wear quick.

I wear these Dainese boots to work during the week, they protect well and are comfortable enough to wear all day.

Those Sidi boots you speak of are called Doha boots. They're beautiful, look like regular shoes, and offer great protection. They even feel great when riding the bike, but THEY ARE FREAKING UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!! I'm on my feet all day at work, and I had to take them off within the first hour. I figured they need to be broken in, so I put up with it for about a month. They still hurt after about an hour of standing on them. I even tried a few different types of inserts.......nothing. No pain when I go to classes because I can get off my feet, but at work, they suck hard.

So in conclusion, they are great as a casual motorcycle boot, but they suck as an everyday "on your feet" boot.

Just thought you guys would like to know that.
