Just to let you know, They are not made for walking. So your pretty much screwed there. When I got my first pair it took a little while to get use to walking around in them. Now I dont even notice.

Ive had the Sidi Vertigos and currently have Alpinestars SMX-R's. Both great boots from great companies.

yeah, definately not made for walking. They made for protection and riding postion. They are very stiff and and support in key areas so you don't break your ankle if you crash. Unfortunately, this means they really limit the amount your foot can move. However, I would say my sidi's are the best comprimise with saftey and comfort. They have their vertebra system that allows your foot to easily move up and down. Basically, its a hinging system on the back of the boot that flexes, but won't let your foot over extend in the event of a crash, so it makes using your foot a bit easier.

But as said, if you wear any race style boots, your going to be walking around kind of goofy until you get use to it.

If your not racing. Have you considered getting a more road rider friendly boot? Most companies offer street boots that still offer good protection.

EDIT: I just reread that you are in leathers.. most street boots wouldn't be high enough to cover the legs on the leathers.

Sidi Vertigos

You won't match Sidi's quality anywhere else.
