We have CCW law in Michigan. I keep a .40 cal in my car and one on me when I'm riding. I call them Tia and Tamera (black twins. If I ever get two chrome (ugh)twins they will be Mary Kate ans Ashley.) But if you carry a gun and you all of a sudden feel extra tough LEAVE YOUR GUN AT HOME !!!! When I have my gun (ALWAYS) I tend to act a lil like a B!T<H and shy away from any commotion.

 

now im not one to shy away from handing out a good ol' fashioned *** whupin. but when it comes to the gun thing, remember there MUST be an iminent threat to life. i carry one as well but you still must keep a good head about you and be smart.

Late to the thread but damn that sucks. I might of glossed over it but where in central IL? I live just over the line in Terre Haute IN and do carry a 9mm with me most of the time too. I've never had a reason to use it and hopefully never will, but better safe than sorry. Too bad it takes 3 cowards to take on one guy. That's just pathetic. Best wishes to a speedy recovery and finding each one of them alone in a dark ally at some point in time.

 

i got to watch the video of it today. and i must say for the circumstances i threw hella punches. shows him come in and sucker punch me full force. i bounced of the wall and come in to him with a low body upper cut. followed by five head shots splitting his nose. one guy grabs him for a sec. couple guys grab me. push me to the wall by the neck and dot my eye twice. i get away tackle the original attacker he's down im poundn away over the top of him. they grab me bounce me off the wall and the one who dotted my eye chokes me out. i hit the ground. out for about 20 sec. shows them all exiting. then i slowly get up with a bloody nose. walk over to the bench. sit down and spit some blood and catch my breath.... dam small town bars. and a couple big belt buckle red necks.

 

Not to pour salt on the wounds but... what'd you do to provoke such an ***-beating?

Not to insinuate wrong-doing, but most people don't just go around in gangs kicking the hell out of people without some kind of reason (good or bad).

 

Hmmm Australia, maybe I should move there once I get my degree.

 

I guess there isn't very many rednecks that have had a few too many drinks where you are.
