well Crap!!!!
Today was a great day outside, about 90 degrees, clear skies, no hint of rain or anything. had a 30% chance of rain. I decided what the heck, so i rode the F4i to work tonight, at about 6pm i look outside and its getting dark and i look at the local news and they say we are under a severe thunderstorm warning, 40mph winds, hail, etc. i was like crap, so i called my Sgt. over the radio and was like can i pull my bike in the sallyport? he goes sure, so i go outside and pull the bike in the sallyport and the sarge is standing there with the inmates washing the transport vans so he goes did it get wet? i said yeah a little but it will be aight, he goes line it up and we will wash the bike after we wash the vans, i was like sweet!! Free wash and detail. LOL. but now its hailing and pitch dark outside and hailing/raining so hard you cant see anything, weve already been on generator twice tonight. LOL im hoping it quits by midnight so i can ride home and not have to leave it up here and catch a ride with my friend on the way home, i believe in riding in the rain but theres only so far im willing to go. LOL 40 mph winds and hail is where i draw the line.
looks like ill be ok, check out the radar at the bottom of the page, looks like its all lbown over now and i dont see another storm cloud coming behind it.

Bah suck it up, some of us even ride in the snow
I know what you mean though, 40-50 mph wind is rough on dry roads, lot tougher in the rain.
