Default crap

well i was changing my oil and i noticed some really gay. the bolt that holds the exhaust pipe on the bottom of the bike has broke off of the frame. so now basically my exhaust is held by the bolts on the manifold and the tail end. it seems to not be close to touching anything but im not sure if that will be the case after a few wheelies. my question is how do i fix it other than welding. dont feel like paying a **** load to get it fixed. could i some how run a good strap around it and kinda rig it. or just leave it be. man its got me mad.

thx, steve

My F2 doesn't have a center mounting point: Just the headers and the footpeg mounts and that's how it is stock. You may be alright without it, but I'd still try to easy out that bolt and replace it.

you might be able to use an easy out. these are pretty cheap at any auto store. ive found its easier if u drill a small hole in the center of the bolt first to give the easy out somthing to grip on. hope it works out bro.

Default RE: crap

drill the bolt out completly and fit a nut and bolt simple,
if the brackets broken, the only option is to weld it back to the exhaust,
if that is your bike your describing below your thread
on a 2006 warranty should take care of it

If it's a 2006 take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty.

Put the stock can back on then, the brackets on the down pipes underneath not on the can,
it's not really rocket science.
Then take it back and claim the warranty.

if it's an 06 model it will be an under seat exhaust won't it??
