sure I'd be upset - but don't get upset with the service guy... he didn't build the car, he won't be fixing your car, he doesn't make Honda's policy... if you go off the deep end do it to someone who can help you.

That said in this case the customer has got something to work from... and should be able to get a decent deal... I haven't heard the OP comment at all on the odometer issue.

My final comment is that you can get what you want if you negotiate, as well as you'd get something if you get in their face. In fact, the higher up the food chain the more calm and logical you are... the more you get.
