I live in Ramona, CA and it was friggen hot as hell today. I drove in to work today (20 mile curvey road streatch to Rancho Bernardo) fully geared and it was 110 F in Ramona and 107 down here. I had my faceshield all the way down and it was cooler. The airflow created from the gap under my chin was enough to make my eyeballs feel dry.

WTF, it's not Phoenix!!!

Oh well, thought I'd b!tch about somethin. 15 minutes I get to drive back home in 80 degree temp. Ahhh much better!

Yea here in NE it has definitely rained at least 50- 60% of each week for the last few months. It is definitely getting old. bah!

 

Here it's raining and it's winter, up side for you though, those compounds are running nice and sticky for the ride home.

 

Well, some of us DO live in Phoenix. Try riding in that type of weather every day for 5 months a year. I think it was 117* yesterday as a high.

 

I know the hell you go through, been to visit my brother who use to live in Chandler and now in Gilbert. Was there about a month and a half ago. It was hot there then at 95 degrees with my Factory jacket with a zippered pair of vents in the front and back and my not perfed leather pants. My brother usually rides with a Phoenix perfed jacket and jeans. He offered to loan me a jacket, but as loose as it fit it offered no protection. He also suggested that I ride without my leather pants, but I don't feel right without them. I guess I'd rather sweat my brains out than to underdress for the occasion.

 

I'm feeling the heat with you mjflagg. I'm in Oceanside and decided to ride inland a bit yesterday. The ride out wasn't bad, but the ride back sucked!! I got stuck in traffic and the bike really started to heat up. If it wasn't for the white lining and stuff, I think I'd still be out there. I think that is about the only thing that Cali had to offer as far as laws go! Couple more months and it should start to cool down to a normal temperature again.
