As a former sales manager and general manager of numerous dealerships I will tell you that it is the dealerships responsibility to verify payoff, and then actually pay off the vehicle. If they screw up it is up to them to correct it, not you. It may take a little while but it is required that they pay off the vehicle completely. If I were you I would request them to overnight the rest of the payoff or the full payoff if they have not sent it in yet to the bank and I would request verification that they cut the check and overnighted the payment. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter. - - Mat

thanks, yea they paid off the bike but they ripped me off of one payment that i made prior to going to the dealer ship. since the payment did not clear yet the agreed upon decision was that they'd refund it to me but fat chance of them actually doing that. %^^&% [:@]

I have dealt with a situation like this before!!!! Stick to your guns and thell them to SUCK ***!!!! Once the buyers order is signed by both party's (yourself and the dealership), its a done deal and any mistake on their part is their problem. There is absolutley nothing this dealership can do to affect your credit rating!!!! They are trying to use a scare tactic on you to correct their mistake. Odds are the owners of the dealership has the sales manager by the ***** and it threatening his job. So now who has who by the *****???? Stck to your guns and tell them to pound sand......Enjoy your new bike!!!

get this, theres more to the story. Unfortunately i ordered parts before the whole bike fiasco and it came after this whole situation. so i get a call to go in and pick up my parts. like i said i know a lot of guys who work there so i stopped and chatted with some of them. each person i started a conversation with was called on the pa system into the sales managers office. hahaha wtf? i was told later that all the employees were "warned" about me and that I cost the dealership thousands of doallrs, like 5k. wow, talk about defamation of charater. and Bull****. this guy is the scum of the earth man, a real jackass...

Hey you should report that to Better Business burueu, 5 grand? Id rather have a record of a assault than a credit score. look up autosales.ca.,,, you know google and complain. you should get some mediation. at least 2500 or your bike back,
