^ You mean you wont be going any faster than 30? Because Im sure you could get written up for that, I just cant think of what the ticket would be for (but I know you could get ticketed for it)

and any sort of spirited driving/aggressive riding can be considered exhibition driving, but Ive honestly never heard of anyone getting a ticket for it... Ive only heard the "it happened to a friend of a friend" ones.
I was joking about it

But yeah I know you can get a ticket from operating a vehicle below the speed limit OR for anything you do that threatens the safety of your community.

I was just curious about if there is any specific law for this specific situation.

Once again thank you everyone.

I got one many many many years ago in a car. It was for cruising at about 10 -15mph and romping on it to 35 mph. 3 point ticket right afterwords, just a step below reckless.

Exhabition of acceleration

Most states can nail you on it.
This is correct. Although rare an officer can pull you over and cited you for it. There is no line drawn as it is left up to officer discretion.
Yep, I know people who have been cited for it.

You can get a ticket for impeding traffic for that.

^ Well, my friend did get one for 'Exhibition of Acceleration', on his own street none the less. You won't hear me telling you of first hand experience b/c I'm not that stupid to do anything l.i.k.e. that in front of a cop.
