trying to figure out what kind of car to get
#11
My buddy got an 03 with 55 on the clock for $10K. It's a nice car, but he was disappointed with it's performance. Albeit, he can't drive for ****.
I'm in the same boat though, I need a new car soon. The Accord is pushing 215K, not that it won't run for another 85, but I need to start looking. I have been eying a Fairlady Z; they are relatively cheap.

You like to work on cars, and no muscle cars were mentioned? Feh, Chevelles, Novas, Satellites, Early Camaros and Mustangs, Impalas, Cutlasses, hell, pretty much anything from that era. Find one in poor shape and go to town on it. Couldn't ask for a better hobby vehicle, guaranteed to suck away all the extra time, money and ambition you have. And when all said and done you end up with something alot more worthwhile than just another hopped up riceburner disposable car. Least thats the way I think of it. If you wanna go rice find a wedge model 300zx, circa 90's like
You can get them pretty cheap, they are fast as hell and look nice, but I'd still stick with a musclecar if I could find one.
