Default True stealershipness

Just happened to look over my paperwork again for my new bike and they some how snuck in a 650.00 extended service plan. Ill be going to the stealership in the morning to stop it. GAH i really hate dealerships. Part is my fault and i know that but i did look over it and nothing seemed wrong. Plus i was super excited to be getting my bike. Guess i actually trusted them. My fault. GRRAAAAAAAAAAAH im so mad.

rant over

MODS FEEL FREE TO DELETE THIS THREAD DUE TO ME BEING AN IDIOT.

I thought bikes came with a similar warranty that cars came with. Well i was wrong. They only come with a year warranty and the extended gives you more. I didnt understand that.

Sorry.

WHY DOES A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE MAKE YOU AN IDIOT ?

It doesn't.

Nothing wrong with the question, IMO.
Enjoy your new baby. Love her like you should and all will be right with the world

They should have told you about it when you were there. If they just added it without telling you that is a problem.

Ya. I asked how long the warranty was and she told me 5 years. So i thought that was the factory warranty but that was really the extended warranty.

She probably could have explained it a bit better but all is alright.

And thank you Shadow. I guess it was just a lack of knowledge. Well said and iam enjoying her.

They should have told you, I'll give you that.

On the other hand, be a good consumer and work through big purchases like this with a fine-toothed comb.
