You're kidding, right?!?!?!?!? You're seriously trying to say that two bikes of the same model are going to be the same????? Even MotoGP can't achieve that.

Suspensions, tires, engines are going to have enough individual variation thatit wouldn't be the same.

what is your honest reasoning for wanting to rent a bike???
it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to rent a bike for a trackday if you already have one?
seriously, trust us on this, USE YOUR OWN BIKE
I know its not fun to imagine crashing your bike but there is an easy solution to that, DON'T CRASH
or even buy a set of track plastics for the weekend, hell you could probably find a local racer with a spare set you could borrow for a day or two

 

not a chance! i've only got two pills left and i'm probably gonna still be hurting like hell for a few more days
all i'm gonna have is darvosets and those don't do jack

 

Most people take the stance that they don't want to ruin their own bike. While its a valid concern, they should realize that they take this risk whenever they got on the bike, street or track. The risk of crashing is always there!!!! I don't think many of them realize that the risk of crashing is greater on the street because of the x-factors (e.g. traffic, road hazards, etc) that don't exist on the track.

Personally, I bought my bike to RIDE it. Not to keep it in some pristine shape. And I'd ride the track over the street any day, even if the risk of crashing were greater than the street.
