Never had a problem with them being slick.... thats only if you get the paint out of the grooves... then it might be until it wears off but saying that it will affect your trackion is a bunch of crap, your not riding on the paint your riding on the rubber. The guy is just covering his *** from being sued for something stupid incase some idiot blamed a crash on the paint.

I was refering to the colored tire's not the painted one's.

I personally think it would look pimp that pen in the treads. I'm all about the accents. I don't care for the full colored tires that's just too much I think. But I guess this pen investment would just be a waste of money so I guess I'm going to pass on it. My upgrades this winter are going to be micron slip on, tire hugger, PC, and thats all I can think of at the moment. I'll just save my money for those things.
