Default Tire damage...

Cold weather and tires are a bad mix. After a training session with my co-workers, when it was time to leave, I peeled out on the new CBR1000RR. I didn't get enough traction to accelerate normally...and what I got was more of a rolling burnout/3 inch high wheelie combo that impressed the co-workers and shredded rubber. For anyone who hasn't had an opportunity to ride the new 1KRR I highly recommend it! I hope my tire budget holds out.

If its below say 45 degrees always assume your tires wont stick good. Just too much power on these bikes. Glad your not posting about parts for sale though.

Thanks TK. No parts... just shredded rubber. Its getting into the 20s at night so the ground doesn't warm up even in the afternoon. There is so much power on tap that it can't transfer to the ground. I was actually on an old runway when i did it.

Yeah I have taken the bike out a few times last week and my tire was slipping like crazy. Although it could be because I have 7800+ miles on the stock tire....

Wow, musta looked sick man. I always thought people burning out while pullin the front wheel up looked tight.

I'm surprised how easy the front wheel comes up on my new bike. Not uncontrolled, just a nice predictable lift.

From the seatI felt the rear end break loose and stayed in the throttle. The spectators said there was smoke rolling off the rear tire. Anyways they all think I'm crazy now.
