In the city that I work for there is a nice left hand turn from a 5 lane divided highway on to a 2 lane city road. I've seen a couple guys make that nice sweeping left and drag a knee and never thought anything about it. As long as they slow to the proper speed limit once on the 2 lane road I don't see any issues with it.
