All vehicles should be equipped with a device that disables cell phones/blackberries, whatever when the engine is running. Texting while riding? Why don't you just quietly commit suicide in private?

no the worst ive done was check the time on my iphone or see if i have any missed calls at a red light...while moving? NEVER....i just pull over...imagaine how the person would feel if you crash and killed yourself responding to their "hey what u doing text"

1. Remove glove
2. pull phone out of tank bag
3. open phone
4. hit reply
5. .... Oh **** I just rear ended some guy cause I am a douche now I am bleeding all over
6. hit the kill switch
7. crawl to my phone that is 50ft in the ditch
8. type ttyl I just crashed my bike cause I'm a douche

Be very careful though. CBRF is notorious for advocating safe riding behaviors. None of us is perfect and does everything by the book, but the glorifying of bad riding behavior (eg. running from cops, riding without gear, TEXTING?!?) is frowned on here.
