Meh, i'd buy a ZX-10 and get that reflash done for 450 bucks, get a new sprocket set and you'd still have some money left over. Pushing the same HP as the BMW with a better abs / tc system.

Not sure i'm digging that white front end on the new color scheme either on the BMW. Looks a little out of place.
I'd get the Red/White/Blue one

As a track day racer, sure. To tool around town where looks matter just as much if not more then performance (at least to the young singles out there) no. I can deal with the different headlights, but two different fairings as well is just too much.

The solid black looks really great. Notice they took off the plate bracket for some of the shots. Even they know it ruins the look. That plate is HUGE... glad we don't have that in the states.

Dude: "Hey baby, you like my bike?"
Chick: "No, not really."
Dude: "Well take a look from the other side"
Chick: "Oh, that's sweet! You're like magic and stuff! Wanna go to my place?"

BMW is genius.

If i had 20k in the bank today I'd have $0 in the bank tomorrow and a problem trying to figure out how to move it up / down 3 flights of stairs daily.

Red white blue...hey...that'll go with your American eagle helmet...Sir yes sir!!!! No sir! Sorry sir!

BTW... Did you ever got that helmet?

$20K...that's not small change..$$$...you can make a down payment on a house now....with real estate being so down.... Reality is that I'll wait and get a used one... Imagine you buying it brand new...ride it off, then having a hard time selling for $14-16K... But those that have $14-16K cash, would like want a new bike...

I wouldn`t. The headlight is preposterous. I like the left side, but not the right. I think the rear muffler of a bike should be one of the following:
a) big enough and clearly visible
b) under the seat
c) not in sight at all.

I don`t undrestand those little stumps they put in various bikes nowadays. If you would ask my dreambike, or what looks mean as hell, it`s definetely this:

The KTM RC8.
