I don`t undrestand those little stumps they put in various bikes nowadays. If you would ask my dreambike, or what looks mean as hell, it`s definetely this:

The KTM RC8.

i love everything about the KTM except that FUGLY headlight. in race bodywork, it all looks great, so its not the top fairing, but the combo of the top fairing/headlight for street is the most grotesque thing i've ever seen on a production headlight. and its made worse by how sweet the rest of the bike is.

i agree with you about the exhaust, except i don't think it should be big and visible. under the seat or not really visible is what i like.

Taste-issues... Personally I think the front light is one of the best features of the look, combined with...everything else... Just about the only bike that i`d prefer to the rc8 would be the MV Agusta F4, However should I own one, I propably wouldn`t dare to drive it...

I'm a big fan of the KTM as well but the headlight killed is a bit ugly and by a bit I mean a real real lot.

RC8 is junk for the money compared to the BMW or other comparable brands such as Augusta.

That said, I'd take any of those bikes in a heart beat if they were handed to me. The BMW is awesome. Would I buy one of them? Only if I was very comfortable money-wise and could afford to possibly wreck a nicer bike (cause I'd ride the chit out of it).

Actually no. I went and looked at it the other day and I'm not such a fan of it in person. Lady Liberty and the Eagles look like they're sketched on - sort of hard to explain but they aren't clean lines and look like a charcoal drawing if you will.

I was pretty disappointed with it.

Sooooo in my search for a patriot helm I made a stop by this...
