um........honestly.....what is wrong w/ this "friend"? has he not yet learned that if he does not pay for the bike each month, if the bike is not in his name.......then his *** shall not touch it? seriously i'd beat the living **** out of him if he kept tipping my f**king bikes over! why are you sitting here typing? someone needs their *** beat so sore they wont be able to sit on a damn bike.

Paint your bike like mine...


I pretty much let anyone who wants to ride ride my bike. I'm more reluctant now becuase I got a Full Exhaust system with a Carbon Fiber can that is $200 away from what I paid for my bike(I paid $1000). But replacing a can isn't that big of a deal for someone.

But I've let a friend's GF who has never ridden ride my bike. She stalled it out twice but never laid it over. And hell she's only 5'4"(Maybe) and probably 100lbs if not less. If she did crash it(And even if I had paint on it) I probably wouldn't have made her pay because I somewhat insisted that she could ride it.

Yesterday I rode a friends 2008 SV650s that he just got yesterday evening and took it for a 7mile trip(I freaked him out because I decided to stop and call him pretending something was wrong with the bike). And before that my buddy's GF who got a brand new 07 ZZR600 asked me to ride it for a while to help put some miles on while she was at work. I put 50 on it and almost laid it over at a stop light. I was behind a RC51(Her BF) with FMF pipes that thunder and the ZZR was so quiet and smooth I couldn't tell what RPM range I was in.

I'd hate it if I told someone not to get on my bike and then they get on it and did that. But more for them not listening to me. If I said to someone "Take my bike for a spin" and then they lay it over or crash it I'd be a lot cooler(Even with paint).

That does seem like a lot of damage for someone just sitting on it. I had my F3 fall over one time with No fairings at all. All I did was bend the brake lever(Didn't have a right side bar end on at the time) that I still use today.

However you can take a lesson I guess. Always Always Always put your bike in 1st(Or any gear) and roll it forward until it stops. Then put it on the kickstand so it can't roll forward and have the kickstand roll forward too.

 

No one touches, sits on, rides, or even breaths on my bike. It's mine. I took off the rear pegs and put on a cowl for a reason............it's mine and mine alone. It's not being selfish, but one thing I can't stand is people screwing up other people's stuff. I work hard to afford a nice bike, and have worked hard on it to make it what it is..........and I'll be damned if someone I know uses it to act cool and trash it.

I remember my roommate (Hamster) cleaned my bike with Honda Polish before a ride and I got extremely mad about it. Not because he did something nice for me, but because he touched MY bike without my permission. I don't care if I scratch it, but I have a huge problem if someone else scratches it........even if it is an accident or if they're being nice.

So if any of you ever get to meet me in person...........don't touch any of my s**t.

 

I was sitting down in a cafe one time when a bum walked right up to my bike and sat on it and just about tipped it over. Thebum's response to my threats was "Oh... is this your bike?" Luckily he got off my bike without tipping it over.
