I was sitting down in a cafe one time when a bum walked right up to my bike and sat on it and just about tipped it over. Thebum's response to my threats was "Oh... is this your bike?" Luckily he got off my bike without tipping it over.
You should have stabbed him in the neck with something blunt. Cops don't really care about bums or prostitutes, so it is okay to murder them...you would have been fine.

No one touches, sits on, rides, or even breaths on my bike. It's mine. I took off the rear pegs and put on a cowl for a reason............it's mine and mine alone. It's not being selfish, but one thing I can't stand is people screwing up other people's stuff. I work hard to afford a nice bike, and have worked hard on it to make it what it is..........and I'll be damned if someone I know uses it to act cool and trash it.

I remember my roommate (Hamster) cleaned my bike with Honda Polish before a ride and I got extremely mad about it. Not because he did something nice for me, but because he touched MY bike without my permission. I don't care if I scratch it, but I have a huge problem if someone else scratches it........even if it is an accident or if they're being nice.

So if any of you ever get to meet me in person...........don't touch any of my s**t.

That's exactly why I can't see putting hundreds or thousands of dollars in a paint job unless it's a "show piece". There will always be that fear of some ***** making you wreck, laying it over or generally messing with it. My wife laid hers over one day in the yard on some uneven ground and I was concerned with HER being hurt, the first thing out of her mouth was "MY BIKE OK?". It's bad enough when you do something yourself but for someone else to screw it up THAT'S a real pisser![:@]
LOL! Now that lady is a real biker; first concern...the bike! Buddy of mine lost it in the rain with his GF on back, he shouts "you ok" before running over to view the bike. After 2 and a half years recovery form a bad crash, I had to lock up to avoid a bicycle exiting a one way street. Stopped, bike overbalanced, started to go over and automatically put out me arm to "save" the bike. It worked a treat; no damage to the bike, but I broke the same wrist that had just taken 2 and a half years and 8 operations to fix! Never had that concern for the paint when I rode a matt black rat bike!

Blue, I must say, I'm nervous just looking at your bike over the net [8D].

Haha .. I actually missed posting on this forum while I was gone. I hadn't had the time to thoroughly look through the posts and give my honest feedbacks yet . You're correct... I was on vacation in the Bahamas with no internet or phone connection [].
