damn that blows, my buddy went to pull my bike in my shed I was too drunk, so of course I let him, and I hear vroom, vroom. stall, fall....then I had to pick my bike up off him....but the bike landed on top of him and it was in the grass so no damage..

That's exactly why I can't see putting hundreds or thousands of dollars in a paint job unless it's a "show piece". There will always be that fear of some ***** making you wreck, laying it over or generally messing with it. My wife laid hers over one day in the yard on some uneven ground and I was concerned with HER being hurt, the first thing out of her mouth was "MY BIKE OK?". It's bad enough when you do something yourself but for someone else to screw it up THAT'S a real pisser![:@]

So he laid it down at 0mph and all that damage occurred? Wow...he must have thrown it down or something. Sorry to hear about that. I'm with Northernfirepower on this one. I'm also reluctant to spend so much money on my bike because I know it'll just get messed up later.

 

That sucks, I wouldnt really consider him a friend pulling some bull like that. Get the guy to pay for the damage!

For some reason people who don't ride are attracted to the seat of everybike they see and just have to sit on it. and for some otherreason they think the bike stays upright all by itself until the wieght is pushing them over [:@]

Yeah deffinetly a pisser. Remember the day I laid down my dads old yamy I was 10 or so at the time and just had to get on it. Well was a lil heavier than I expected and a little to much weight one way and poof thing was built like a tank though so not much more than a bent foot peg. My RR has got a fair amount of plastic dmg though and ive been pricing out fairing speaking of which if anyone knows a cheap place let me know. But I'm not to concerned as long as I dont pay a lot to replace the fairing. I could see myself laying it down the day after I put it on and pissin and moaning.

 

so yeah he's payig for it, no ? about it, yeah i lay'd it down about 2 months ago, twice actually. once i lost my footing and the second i was bumped at a red light, hence the new paint job. thats what makes iT B.S, is i just got it done 2 weeks ago. SO HERE IS THE KICKER, he just did it again in my livingroom [sm=noooo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=icon_quiet.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=dontgetit.gif] i'm typing this my ex g/f is down stairs i hear a thud, followed by an oh sh*t, which is not my g/f's voice, so i go down stairs, the mother f'er had just walked into my house and started tellig the ex,( she told me step by step) sat o my zx and tip that one over 2., luck it was onto my my couch ant there was o damage. (thud was him hitting his head on the wall) wow i need new friends.
