I came across this deal on a 07 cbr600rr. 557 mi. $4700. THE UPPER FAIRING STAY IS BROKEN, THE UPPER IS CRACKED, BOTH MIRRORS ARE BROKEN, THE LEFT MID IS SCUFFED, THE CLUTCH LEVER IS SCUFFED, AND THE LEFT TURN SIGNALS ARE DAMAGED. Oops, sorry about the caps, but I'm not going to retype it. lol. The problem is it comes at a time that my savings are depleted. Now I sit here racking my brain trying to come up with the cash. Thought about selling my memorabilia collection, can't do it. Thought about selling my f2, no way. Thought about selling my only car, THAT'S IT! Wait, the wife would kill me, scratch that. Oh well, that's how it always works, when you have the cash you can't find any deals, when you don't, they fall in your lap.

Damn that sucks. For as cheap as it is it would probably only cost what $1000 if you went with all new parts? I dont know how much factory fairings are for that new of a bike but I bet you could find good condition used. Too bad you dont have the funds. You didnt say you would sell the wife, JK.

 

Bingo! thats it. No wait, they might decide later they want a refund(wife stands over shoulder with meat clever in hand). Now I sit here racking my meat clevered brain trying to come up with the funds. As far as the fairings, only the upper needs to be replaced. I added everything up and it would cost about $300 to fix everything to stock. But if you know me, I don't do stock.

Guess you just have to rob a bank. Sucks trying to put together cash last minute.

 

Can ya just grab a small loan and pay it off when ya have the cash. If its not a salvage it should be easy to get a 5k loan on a 7-8 k bike.

 

I would just let it pass....its undue stress
