I closed last night... alone. I opened today... alone. I'm working open to close today... alone. In a cell phone kiosk. In the freakinmall. On a Friday. We do $8000 in cash payments alone... on a slow day. My 11 year old dog is home alone and needs to go out. I can't get a lunch break cause I can't leave the kiosk.

Phew... rant over! I'm pissed! Oh by the way I'm the boss... so I can't just call the boss.

 

i feel your pain, when i managed a dominos, i worked 26 days straight, 10-14 hours a day, IF i didnt have to OC (open-close). OC, O(14hrs), O(14Hrs), Close. and i wasnt even a GM yet! so yeah, hang in there......do you own the business or just the boss?

 

I'm the sales manager for a "bank"...

The Boss I work for is a bi-polar, tantrum throwing, multi-millionare...who drives Porsche's...gets at least one speeding ticket a week, and
often has to be bailed out of jail.

And we office out of the nicest and most high rent locations in D/FW.

Our secretary, who weighs about 450 pounds, is a narcoleptic. (I did not hire her.)

She falls asleep typing a response to a lawsuit.

She falls asleep as soon as she parks in the parking lot in the morning.

She falls asleep and runs into the backs of cars. (4 wrecks that I know of)


I have one sales girl who is a part-time model...full time b****....

I'm looking for a job as an entry to mid-level mechanic at a private bike shop...NO DEALERSHIPS...unless they want to pay for certification school.

 

I wish I could do that.

 

I used to be 2IC of a rework Dept. for Garmin sat nav, and literally did nothing for 9 hours a day. All i had to do was plan the weeks work, get temporary staff to do it, sort out computer problems and answer the phone occasionally. To date, that is the most boring job i have ever had!

I mean she falls asleep the very second...the very split second she pulls into the parking spot of her choice for the day.

I'll be outside, smoking, and sit there and watch her head...fall down to her chest...engine still running...she is sound asleep.

She'sll wake up about...5-10 minutes later...turn her car off...look groggily around...grab the 18 or so grocery sacks that are her lunch,
and slowly make her way into the building, into the elevator.

There are only 2 floors.


Needless to say I park on the other side of the planet.

 

I'm a store manager for a corporate T-Mobile store... so I work for some bastard who is out playing golf right now.

hahahaha I hate people who I see drive around the mall parking lot for literally 10-20 minutes to finda spot, then go in the mall and walk around the whole thing twice buying clothes and stuff. WTF? You're gonnwa walk 15 miles anyway right?

 

That does sound sucky!

Look on the bright side... at least you're in the mall and if you get a chance to catch your breath, there is a possibility some hotties will walk by.
