Default storing a tire

ok so a dealer near me is having a pretty good deal on tires in a couple weeks and i thought i'd pick up a rear for future use. my question is if i store it in my garage will the heat have any negative effects on the rubber? where i live it gets above 100 degrees so i don't wanna store the tire and have it ruined by the summer heat. thanks in advance

Over time the rubber will degrade, there really isn't a whole lot you can do about keeping it fresh. But I know what it feels like to watch a good sale go by because you don't particularly need the tires at the moment.
