Sunday 9/10/06 my bike was stolen from my "Secured" parking lot in Downtown Minneapolis MN. Heavily guarded by fat, air-tazer wielding "officer", between the hours of 1:30 and 4:30pm. I hope the ****ers are watching the boards for proof of their wrong doings. We will find you! I don't have the funds to put forth a Pee-wee Herman type reward ($10K for his stolen red bike) but I would make it worth your while for info leading to the inevitable beat down of the **** wads that did this.
I truly feel that all it would take is a group ride/drive to the North side of Minneapolis or St.Paul's less traveled parts where it seems a growing # of chop shops are being raided. If any one says they have some cheap F2 parts for sale PLEASE responded in this post or to me directly. It's myown fault for not learning from all the warning post that I have seen over the years. Shame on me. I stay awake at night plotting the demise of the parties involved with the disappearance of what I will now call, The Jacob Wetterling CBR F2. I say public access TV is the way to flush these ****ers out. You know they live next to some old asses who may just be sick of hearing them rev the engines at midnight. Please give me your feedback on the topic. maybe a group counseling season on the need for full coverage INSR would be helpful.(I hate saying something like that being a INSR agent myself!)
KNOWING THAT THEY ARE JUST GOING TO CANABALIZE THE BIKE IS THE WORST PART ABOUT IT.

wow sorry to hear that. sad to say that they are probably just gonna joy ride it and dump it somewhere . it might be pretty noticeable if they used those fairings (really clean paintjob btw) hopefully you can find it in 1 piece if not do you have insurance that will cover your bike if stolen ? i hope so ... good luck oh yea a good place to watch for parts is craigslist

 

Damn that sucks. That was a really clean looking bike too. Was that a custom paint job or a special edition? Either way if they try to sell off the body panels somewhere it'll be easily identifiable.

 

Theifs **** me off more than anything, lets steal some hard-working dudes **** cause we're f'n screw-ups that can't get our own. There's hope though, saw this thing on the news about some dude had his super-duper whatever stolen, it was a sportbike though, anyway, he saw some parts on E-Bay that he had recognized as his and they caught the dude. Good thing that it's a sharp looking bike that you don't see everyday, I think you got a fightin chance so long as some pro chop-shop didn't get it, who knows what they do to keep from getting caught, but if it was stolen by some yahoo, I think you'll find it.

 

They are one of custom painted by my good buddy Miller. It was my first bike and had it for just 2 seasons or so. the thing was practically still wet from paint when I got it. Bought it with 17996 on the odometer and was able to bring it to 283xx before it was lifted. I bought to do an increasing inability to pay for gas in the Range Rover and it made a lifer out of me. I guess I will be looking for my new love. Based on a test ride this summer, I will be getting a RC-51 come May1st

 

I will pray for them to get caught........

HOLY **** GUYS AND GALS...IT'S BACK!!!!!!!
It's Back! I received a call at 11:56 today from a # I did not recognize. After finally getting to the voicemail at 5pm a voice stated to call the MPLS impound for info on my stolen vehicle. Giddy with joy and anxiety I jumped in the truck as I dialed the # back. So the pictures below illistrate the damage these pukes did to my baby. By the way, the bike was found just 3.5 miles away from my house. They put 80 miles on the bike in the last 3 days and did I would estimate $400 in damages. I want to add before you see the photos that... THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE!

congrats man ! just like i said probably some punks out lookin to joy ride your bike and then they'd dump it ... looks like its not in that bad of shape considering what couldve happened !

 

Cool as hell bro! Looks like the damage was from them hot-wiring it then breaking the gas cap to pu gas in it...... Well, shouldn't have happened in the first place but sure as hell coulda been worse. congrats!

my car got broken into once and you could see a handprint on the roof plain as day and i washed it earlier that day and it wasnt mine and the cop said they wouldnt be able to lift it and didnt even try!! BS
