Default state farm insurance

i wrote on here before that they were cool. this has just stopped and they suck ***. they are moving just my truck premium....yes just my truck, not my bike up 60 bucks a month because they are going off the oldest person in the households credit. my mom dosnt have the best credit and mine is alot better then hers and they are upping my payment. but the funny thing is theyre not touching the bike, just the truck. i called another state farm agent and they said they never heard of this. plus my mom isnt on my policy and dosnt drive my bike or my truck. anyone else hear of this???

My understanding is they go by who "can" operate the vehicle in the household. For example, if you have a liscensed sixteen year old on your policy that can drive the car, your premium would be more because they have a chance of screwing up the insured vehicle. Does that make semse? Maybe it is something like that. Sorry dude.

the words my agent used were, "state farm wasnt profitable last year so we are trying new ways to help out customers".
Here you go Longhorn, straight from Statefarm.com:

"The better-than-expected auto results combined with a $4.1 billion reduction in catastrophe losses in 2006 resulted in an increase in State Farm’s companywide net income – an increase that was almost identical to the previous year’s decline. In other words, net income in 2006 was almost identical to that of 2004. The company is reporting an after-tax net income from all sources of $5.32 billion, compared with $5.31 billion in net income reported in 2004 (two years ago). State Farm’s net income in the hurricane-laden year of 2005 was $3.24 billion."

I had State Farm for several years. Screw them.
